Aaron Micah Jones' life was tragically cut short on July 29th, 2020 at the age of 38. He is survived by his wife Samantha Jones, his son Elijah Jones, his parents Lynn and Wendell Jones, his brother Zach, his dog Bella, and countless friends and family members.
Aaron was a great man; a loving husband and father, a beloved son and brother, and friend to all who got to know him. He was a man of incredible faith with a very kind heart.
Even though Aaron's life was far too short, he lived more in his 38 years than many do in 100 years. Aaron was very passionate about spirituality, politics, American history, cars, cooking delicious food, and much more.
Born on January 14th, 1982 he was an extremely energetic child who was very excited about life and the World around him. His early years were met with some adversity, suffering from dyslexia. Aaron's deep love for learning and keen intellect compelled him to fight his learning disabilities and graduate with a bachelor's degree from Salisbury University, while working as an auto mechanic.
Aaron was very talented at fixing cars, but his even greater talent for politics really shined in his mid-twenties. He was a grassroots leader who started out as a Legislative Aide in the Maryland House of Delegates. From there, he rose up to become an Innovations Manager for the Maryland State Highway Administration. His work included creating educational opportunities for low-income children, preparing the state government for automated cars, and a number of other important projects. Aaron was a very hard worker with extraordinary diligence and initiative.
"So long as we live, they too shall live, for they are now a part of us, as we remember them." – Jewish proverb.
Aaron's love, kindness, courage, loyalty, and strength will always be remembered in the hearts and souls of those who loved him. We will always love you Aaron.
