LEVINE, AARON 91 - of Clackamas, OR, died September 22, 2008. Born in Philadelphia July16, 1917. Levine graduated from University of California at Berkeley and received a master's degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. During World War II, he served in the Army Corps of Engineers in North Africa and Hawaii. He was a senior planner for the Philadelphia Planning Commission from 1946-1951. From 1952-1962, he was executive director of the Philadelphia Citizen's Council on City Planning. From 1962 until his retirement in 1987, he served as president of the Oahu Development Conference in Hawaii. He is predeceased by his wife Beatrice, his brother Joseph, and sister Miriam Gallerstein. Survivors include his daughters Lisa Levine of Portland, Oregon, Karen Porreca of Ocean City; stepdaughter Dennys Eymard of Kula, HI; stepson Marc Eymard of San Francisco, CA; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
