Alan Jacobson was released from pain and found peace on December 1, 2022. He was born on October 17, 1933 to Bernard and Lena Jacobson in Philadelphia, Pa.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and attended Temple University. He was a successful business owner and then worked as a Legal Assistant for Morris and Adelman, P.C. His favorite sport was golf, he had a flare for building model boats and miniatures. He was an avid poker player, loved to travel and had a wit that matched George Burns and Groucho Marx. He will be missed and remembered by family and friends.
His is survived by his loving wife Ellen Sue, daughter Penny, son Jay, granddaughter Allie, stepchildren Ira, Eileen and Basha, and step grandson Max.
Graveside services will be held at Mount Sharon cemetery in Springfield on Friday, December 2 at 11:30 am.
