Alan Rosenbloom

Alan Rosenbloom of Collegeville, PA (formerly of East Rockaway, NY) passed on April 6, 2024. Beloved husband of Irene (nee Korenman); devoted father of Jonathan and Andrew Rosenbloom; cherished brother of Shelley Schollmeyer; proud grandfather of Alexa Ruby and Avery Paige Rosenbloom; devoted uncle to Sabrina (Evan), Melissa (Jeremy), Robert, David, Tricia, Lisa & Krista. Alan is preceded in death by his mother Myrtle Rosenbloom and father Sidney “Jimmy” Rosenbloom. 

Alan was a lifelong New Yorker (Go Jets, Islanders, Knicks, Mets [ha] and Brooklyn Dodgers). Born in Belle Harbor, NY, raised in Freeport, NY and settled with his family in East Rockaway, NY.  A Proud Army Veteran. A loyal, devoted friend. A cherished co-worker in his various fields of business (jewelry, auto leasing, teaching, and as a lacrosse coach).

Relatives and friends are invited to services Tuesday April 16, 9:00AM (promptly) at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. The family will return to the Rosenbloom Family residence in Phoenixville, PA and request that contributions in his memory be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
