ALBERT J. April 3, 2011 of Jenkintown, Pa. at the age of 92. May the memory of the righteous be a blessing. Beloved husband of Rose (nee Dickstein). Revered and embracing father of Harvey (Marjorie), Jeffrey (Jacqueline Jones) and Richard Abramson (Susan). Doting and devoted grandfather of Shari, Kimberly, Joanna, Sarah, Anna, Michelle, Carly, and Allison. One-of-a-kind great-grandfather of Jacob, Molly, Ellie, Max, and Ava. A life-long resident of the Philadelphia and Atlantic City areas, he was a naval veteran of World War II who went on to pursue a successful career as the owner of several retail businesses. In retirement he remained an avid reader, a volunteer tutor for young children through the Jewish Federation, and a committed life-long learner. Services will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, April 6 at JOSEPH LEVINE AND SONS, 4737 Street Road, Trevose. Int. at Roosevelt. The family will return to the residence of Harvey and Marjorie Abramson. Contributions in his memory may be made to Congregation Shir Ami in Newtown.
