Alyne grew up in Abington, PA where her father owned a successful shoe store. As a child, she and her parents owned a dog, Skipper, who was a faithful companion to her. She attended Abington High School and after graduating went on to Penn State College where she lived on their main campus. She also attained a Master's Degree from Beaver's College. Alyne spent her adult life as a resident of Andalusia, Bucks County. She loved art and especially fashion, having an extensive wardrobe, shoe, and accessory collection. Though she had no children of her own, she devoted her life to children as a school art teacher. She was a proud member of the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers. Alyne was immensely close to her parents, Jacob (Jack) and Thelma, and took care of them until their passing. In more recent years, Alyne resided at Rydal Park in Jenkintown, where she enjoyed shopping trips and spending time with friends before she fell ill. She is survived by her cousins Marci King and Elysa Kane-Davis.
