ANDREW LESLIE MALMED, 55, formerly of Merion, PA; son of Larry Malmed and Sissy Lemisch Bershad passed away on March 19, 2005 after a stoic stand against cancer. Andy is survived by a sister Betsy Fogelman Tighe and brother Tony Malmed and their families. Andy was a writer, an impassioned amateur historian and astronomer, a printshop owner and food salesman and a self proclaimed Vulcan. His humor and iconoclasm will be ever unforgettable. Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Thursday 1 P.M. Roosevelt Memorial Park (Sec. DD), Old Lincoln Highway, Trevose, PA. The family will return to the residence of David Waxman. Contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
