ANITA (nee Rosenthal), February 24, 2008, of Palm Beach FL. Formerly of Philadelphia PA. Wife of the late Victor S. Markovitz and the late Joseph Specker. Mother of Michael E. ("Sam")Markovitz and Richard T. (Julie) Markovitz. Grandmother of Jacob, Victoria, and Michael (Daria); Ethan, Jono, and Lizi. Former President, Friends of Samuel Paley Day Care Center, active with Ronald MacDonald House, Pennsylvania Hospital Hospice and Wheels Medical Transportation. Relatives and friends are invited to Services Thursday, February 28, 2008, at 11 A.M., at JOSEPH LEVINE AND SON, N. Broad St. above 71st Ave. Interment Har Nebo Cemetery. The family will return to the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Michael E. Markovitz. Shiva will be observed Thursday Saturday and Sunday after 7 P.M. Contributions, in lieu of flowers, to Town of Palm Beach Fire Rescue Department, 300 North County Road, Palm Beach FL 33480; or Volunteer Medical Service Corp. 101 Sibley Ave., Ardmore PA 19003; or Friends of Samuel Paley Day Care Center.
