ARNOLD, 9/19/37 - 10/6/07, a lifelong resident of Phila., PA and Ventnor, NJ. Arnie was a local tavern owner, former shoe salesman for his family's Stern's Shoe Co. and a horseback riding instructor. He was a fixture at the Jersey Shore and the Bay. During his lengthly battle with cancer, he was compassionately cared for by Raphael Gabay D.O. and the Radiation Oncology Staff at Lankenau Hospital. Arnie is survived by his wife, Judith Rothman Stern, children Michelle and Christopher Phenicie, Sharon and Daniel Sablosky, Tina Freil and Randie and Robert Roeder, 9 grand-children, Samantha, Michael, Richard, Sam, Max, Sean, Matthew, Shari and Carli and an abundance of loving friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Services Tuesday 2 P.M. at Congregation Or Shalom, 835 Darby-Paoli Rd., Berwyn, PA. Int. Haym Salomon Memorial Park. The family will be returning to the residence of Sharon and Daniel Sablosky. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Radiation Oncology Center at Lankenau Hospital.
