Barbara Berkowitz

Barbara Berkowitz (nee Schwartz) of Merion Station, PA passed on March 25, 2026.

Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Edwin J. Berkowitz; loving mother of Alan (Perla) Berkowitz, Arthur (Lisa) Berkowitz, Daniel (Ella Ziff) Berkowitz, and Pnina (Sorin) Siegler; devoted sister of Donald (Elayne) Schwartz; and adoring grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to services Sunday March 29, 2026, 12PM at Har Zion Temple, 1500 Hagys Ford Rd., Penn Valley, PA 19072. Internment at Roosevelt Memorial Park.

The family will return to Har Zion for a meal of consolation with Minyan at 6 pm. Shiva will continue Monday and Tuesday at the late residence from 5PM to 8PM with Minyan at 7PM.
