BEATRICE "BEA" (nee Wolf), June 10, 2005, of Plymouth Meeting, PA formerly of Wynnewood, PA, passed away with grace and courage after a short battle with ovarian cancer. Born August 24, 1924 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Wolf and Leona Goldstein Marcus. She married the late Lawrence Amsel in 1947 and raised 3 children. For 6 years, she worked as the secretary to the Public Relations Director at the Insurance Institute of America in Radnor, and later as a secretary at Hamilton Elementary School for 10 years. She enjoyed gardening, reading and watching old movies. A son Richard preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Lee, her son Michael and his wife, Teresa and her grandson Joey. Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Tuesday June 14, 2005 at 12 Noon at the Roosevelt Memorial Park, (Section AA) Trevose, Bucks, Co. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers that contributions in her memory be made to The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, Inc., 14 Pennsylvania Plaza, Suite #1400, New York, NY 10122.
