Beatrice S. Rossman

October 29, 2022. Beatrice S Rossman, 102, passed away after a very long, healthy and productive life.  For almost everyone who met her, Bea was the “mother you always wanted” or “wanted to have”!  Her infectious smile, wonderful sense of humor and joie de vivre will be missed by all. 

She was engaging, accepting, funny, intelligent, stylish and worldly having travelled around the world numerous times visiting every continent. As a lover of classical music and a pianist she played a leadership role at Curtis Institute of Music. 

Bea was a devoted wife to her deceased husband Sam and is survived by her two sons, Louis and Fred, their respective spouses, Val and Leslie.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Alexis, (Patrick), Matthew, (Kat), Hannah, (Jesse), and Benjamin.  Also, by her three great grandchildren, Gabriel, Isabel and Nora.

Relatives and friends are invited to services Monday, October 31, at 12:00 PM, Beth David Reform Congregation, 1130 Vaughans Lane, Gladwyne, PA.  Shiva will be observed Monday following the service and throughout the afternoon and evening until 8:00PM at the residence of Louis and Val Rossman.  The family respectfully requests that contributions be made to The Hearth at Drexel, c/o Liberty Lutheran, 7002 Butler Pike, Ambler, PA 19002 (https://www.libertylutherandonatenow.org/the-hearthat-drexel).
