BERNICE SABEL, 98, on Aug. 23, 2016. Wife of the late Dr. Sidney Beck. Mother of Dr. Jonathan Beck (Judy Darling) and Barbara Beck (Larry Eichel). Grandmother of Rachel Darnell (Jason Darnell), Jessica Petkov (Michael Petkov), Benjamin Eichel (Yoninah Orenstein), Molly Eichel (Jesse Cornell) and Jodie Eichel. Great grandmother of Brett Darnell, Marlee Petkov, Mason Petkov and Sydney Darnell. Bernice was the daughter of Isadore and Grace Sabel, sister of Marion Lipschutz and the late Eugene Sabel. Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services, Thursday, August 25, 10:00 A.M., Mt. Sinai Cemetery, 1901 Bridge St., Philadelphia. Shiva will be observed Thursday and Saturday evening at the residence of Jonathan and Judy Beck.
