Bernice Teller, April 13, 2020, will be remembered as a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She grew up in Brooklyn as part of a very large extended family and loved to regale all the stories of the Shabbat family gatherings of all the aunts, uncles and cousins. Her maiden name was Radin, and synonymous with the Best Deli in Brooklyn. Her father, Sam, and his seven brothers, were all involved in multiple Delis in Brooklyn, all named RADIN'S DELICATESSEN. The many Radin children were all campers at camp Mayfair. Bernice was in the bunk called the "Pixies", and made lifelong friends with the fondest of memories from those days. She spent most of her adult married life in Freeport, New York, but relocated to Dresher in 1988 to be closer to her daughter, Jane, son in-law Bob, and her grandchildren, Adam, Jonathan, and Cory.
Bernice was an avid reader, who was on a first name basis with all the librarians. She was most famous for her proverbs. No matter what the situation, she always had some proverb to match the circumstances. She lived a good life and passed away peacefully on April 7, 2020, at the age of 94. She is survived by her daughter and son in-law, Jane and Dr. Robert Knobler and their three sons, Adam, Jonathan and Cory.
Due to the Covid-19 virus, there will be no public graveside service, or Shiva.
