Bertha Rovner, November 7, 1928 - August 24, 2024 of Philadelphia. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Harold Rovner; devoted mother of Rachel Leonard, Barney Leonard (Nancy Roberts), and the late Joshua Leonard; loving grandmother of Elizabeth Zwillinger (Joseph) and Caroline Leonard (Johan Nehlin); also survived by five great-grandchildren: Lionel, Julia, Reuben, Liv and Hugo.
Known professionally as Bertha Leonard, she graduated Tyler School of Art and became a prominent Philadelphia painter. She had many one-woman shows at Gross Mcleaf Gallery. Her whimsical style often included historic Atlantic City scenes, colorful still lifes and moments of Jewish family gatherings. Services are private.
