BESSIE (nee Goldring), August 11, 2013 of Miami, Fl. Formerly of Philadelphia, PA. Wife of the late Joseph Sorkin and the late Isadore Charles Brooks. Beloved mother of Helene (Jerry) Levin and Marilyn (Stephen) Liedman. Also survived by grandchildren Sheryl (Andy) Golland, Craig (Diana) Levin, Stephen (Margi) Levin, Mindy (Don) White, Suzanne (Mark) Levitats and 8 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to graveside services Tuesday August 13, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Mt. Jacob Cemetery, 141 Bartram Ave. Glenolden, PA. The family will return to the home of Helene and Jerry Levin and respectfully request that contributions in Bessie's memory be made to the Stanton Levin Scholarship Fund at Har Zion Temple, University of Miami Hospital Sylvester Cancer Center, or the Jewish Federation of Phila.
