BLANCHE LORETTA HORVITZ, born Ehrlich, in Munich, Oct. 26, 1949, died during a brave struggle with ovarian cancer on Aug. 6, 2004; she is survived by her best friend and husband Selwyn A. Horvitz; by her mother Jeanette Winogron; her daughters Rosalyn Yellin and Kimberly Janel, and her 2 brothers, Charles and Joseph Ehrlich; she is also survived by 7 grand-children, Madi, Mia, Mollie, William and Kyle Yellin, and Jacob and Brooke Janel. Services will be held 11 A.M. Mon. Aug. 9, 2004, JOSEPH LEVINE AND SON, N. Broad St. above 71st Ave., followed by Interment in Shalom Memorial Park. The family will be returning for Shiva to her late residence. In lieu of gifts, contributions may be made in her memory to the I. Brodsky Institute for Blood and Cancer Diseases, Hahnemann University Hospital, Mail Stop #412, Broad and Vine Streets, Phila., PA 19102-1192.
