Bruce passed away peacefully after a long illness. He was born in Torrington CT, from where his family moved to Ohio and then to New Jersey. After grad-uation from Rutgers College of Pharmacy, Bruce joined the US Public Health Service as a Commissioned Officer and worked with the Indian Health Service in Arizona. He then worked in private pharmacies in PA. Bruce was active in Compeer and Tikvah/AJMI, both organizations supporting mental health and did much volunteer work helping others.
He was very kind, generous and thoughtful and will be much missed by all who knew him. He always acknowledged any kindness to himself with the phrase "I love you."
Bruce is survived by his mother Edith Weill; sisters, Susan Weill and Cathy Yungmann (Edward); nephews, Carl and David Yungmann and a great-nephew. Preceded in death by his father, Peter. Internment was private. Shiva will be held Sunday, October 29, 2017, at 7 P.M., in the East Building of his mother's residence. Contributions in his memory may be made to Tikvah/AJMI, 2100 Arch Street, 7th Fl., Philadelphia, PA 19103.
