Carole Lynn Slotsky

Carole was born in Philadelphia to Morris and Gloria Slotsky. She attended Springside School and ultimately graduated from Abington High School and LaSalle College with degrees in French and German. She taught for a few years, but ultimately found that she was most happy in retail, especially at Macy’s. She joined the KI Congregation around 2006 and found many friends there, and was devoted to the choir, even as she found it more difficult to navigate the steps as her disability progressed. She cherished her friends, her dogs, especially Mazie, flowers, plants, art, poetry and classical music. She especially treasured Harriet Allan, Carol Levy, Bonnie MacDonald and Amy Levy. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Joan and Susan and is survived by her sister, Dr. Mary Muscato of Columbia, Missouri.
