Devoted husband of Meryl (nee Berdick); loving father of Aaron (Lisa) Dessen, Craig (Kerrie)Dessen and Jon (Lynne) Dessen; cherished brother of Ellen Barmach; proud grandfather of Owen, Sophie, Reya and Ethan. Services and interment will be private. Contributions in his memory may be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center (foxchase.org/giving/ways-give/donate), and Central Synagogue in New York City.
