DAVID SIMON FRIEDER, on Nov. 2, 2005, at home in Bala Cynwyd PA, formerly of Cincinnati OH, after a courageous five year battle with lung cancer. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Snellenburg). Devoted father of Deborah (Rabbi Michael) Joseph of Gainesville FL, Abby Rubin of Vancouver BC, Julie Frieder (Charles) Stanzione of Boulder CO, Sally (Robert) Salon of Rydal PA, Margot Jill Frieder of Marlton NJ, John (Mary Louise) Rubin of NY NY, Andrea (Michael) Heines of Cincinnati OH; 12 adoring grandchildren. He is survived by his 4 sisters, Jane Ellis, Peggy (James) Selonick, Susan (Arthur) Stern, all of Cincinnati OH, and Judy (John) Starrels of Chevy Chase MD. He was preceded in death by his beloved brother-in-law, David W. Ellis II. Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M., Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005, at Congregation Rodeph Shalom, 615 N. Broad St., Phila. PA 19123. Interment at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Trevose PA. The family will receive visitors at their home on Saturday and Sunday evenings, Nov. 5th and 6th, from 7 to 9 P.M., and following the Burial.
