DAVID S., on May 21, 2016, age 96 years. Born in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Oscar and Bertha Goldberg. Beloved husband of 66 years to Irene (nee Diamond) Goldberg. Loving father of Beth Lee Goldberg and brother of the late Jack Gabriel. Brother-in-law of Bernie and Mini Bloom, and adored uncle of David, Susan, Bruce, Barbara Rosenau, Naomi, Barbara Hochman, Howard and the late Deborah, also survived by cousins and many great nieces and nephews. He was a Army Veteran of WW II. Dedicated to Israel and the Nat'l Museum of American Jewish History, where he was a volunteer docent for over 25 years. Founder of the Phila. Chapter of VFI. He was a man of great humor and intellect and touched everyone he came into contact with, and wanted to leave the world a better place. Relatives and friends are invited to Services, Wednesday 1:00 P.M. JOSEPH LEVINE AND SONS MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 4737 Street Rd., Trevose, PA. Interment Roosevelt Memorial Park. Following Services the family will return to Sunrise of Abington, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday only. Contributions in his memory may be made to Volunteers for Israel, P.O.
