Deborah A. Shore, 78, passed away peacefully at 1:00 am on Friday, February 3. Born in Manhattan, Debbie grew up in Merion, PA, where she attended Friends Central School. She later attended Stephens College in Missouri, before marrying Jeffrey Shore and starting a family. Following their divorce, she lived in Alabama and North Carolina, before returning to the Main Line. Towards the end of her life you could find her at West Elm in King of Prussia, where she was one of their best sales associates.
As a young girl, Debbie enjoyed spending summers in the Poconos with her grandparents, being in the countryside and riding horses. She was an accomplished knitter, and she enjoyed traveling and loved taking long drives, especially with the windows open and her hair blowing in the breeze. A perfect day for her would include a coffee ice cream cone and a good mystery novel.
Debbie is survived by her children, Seth Shore and Riki Shore; Seth's wife Sharon Smith, and children David Shore, Connor Smith and Riley Smith; Riki's husband Rob Schick and daughter Stella Schick. Plans are underway for a memorial service to be held in April.
