Dorothy Yablin

Dorothy (Ostroff) Yablin, December 2, 2024 of Philadelphia, PA; wife of the late Gerald H. Yablin; loving mother of Sindey Dranoff (Bud), Michelle Silverman (Marty), and Andrew Yablin (Krista); treasured Bubee to Scott Dranoff, Lauren Catalano (Jeffrey), and Alex Yablin; great-grandmother of Hadley Dranoff and Jonathan Catalano and cherished sister of Elaine Axelman.  

While she appreciated the assistance her children provided to her, Dot maintained her fierce independent nature until her passing at 89. She had a strong interest in current events throughout her life, and looked forward to intense political conversations with family members. After becoming a grandmother, Dot's entrepreneurial spirit led her to create Unique Gifts for Children.
