Dr. Gerald Korn

Dr. Gerald Korn of Glen Mills, PA, born April 7, 1933 and passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026 at the age of 92. 

Jerry was the devoted husband of Rita Korn, married for 66 years, and loving father of Gayl Barish (Doug) and Meryl Hunte (Ron). He was the proud grandfather of Mitchell (Amy), Elyse, Ari, Jenna, and Noah, and great grandson Wesley. A devoted brother to Burt Korn and Doris Gewertz. 

Jerry received his dental degree from Temple University, and was a dentist for 35 years, practicing in the Overbook section of Philadelphia and later in Bala Cynwyd.

Jerry was an enthusiast for life and did everything with passion. He spent his free time becoming a Life Master at bridge, cultivating bonsai trees, and traveling the world with his wife Rita. He was always interested in health and wellness trends and created his own daily nutrition and exercise routine that was the foundation for his long, healthy life.

He was an inspiration to his family and friends, believing that you could be whatever you wanted to be and that you could do whatever you set your mind to. He was a huge proponent of self-help and personal development always reading and learning and taking courses in an effort to keep growing.

Relatives and friends are invited to chapel services Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026, 12:00 PM at Joseph Levine & Sons, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA. Interment will follow at Mt. Sharon Cemetery. The family will receive condolences at 3 PM at Maris Grove Senior Community, 102 Maris Grove Way, Glen Mills, PA - Catering Room at Cardinal Clubhouse.

Shiva will also be observed Wednesday, Jan. 14 at 4:30 PM at the residence of Gayl and Doug Barish.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jerry's memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
