Dr. Marshall Greenberg

Dr. Marshall Greenberg of Lafayette Hill, PA, passed away on August 15 , 2025. Dr. Greenberg was born in Detroit, MI on June 29, 1935, to Michael and Molly Greenberg. He earned his Bachelor's degree at Haverford College in Haverford, PA and completed his PhD in Mathematical Psychology at the University of Michigan. After teaching at the University of Minnesota and working for Procter & Gamble, in 1970 Dr. Greenberg joined National Analysts (a division of consulting firm Booz Allen & Hamilton) as Vice President. In 1973, he was promoted to President of National Analysts and in 1980 he became a Senior Partner at Booz Allen & Hamilton. He also co-authored 2 books with Dr. Ronald Frank – "The Public's Use of Television: Who Watches and Why" and "Audiences for Public Television". Dr. Greenberg retired in 1998. He enjoyed playing tennis and golf into his 70s and 80s, and was proud to have shot 3 holes-in-one. He loved spending time with his extended family at their beach house in Stone Harbor, NJ. A wonderful husband, brother, father, stepfather and grandfather, Marshall is survived by his wife of 46 years Addy Sugarman; his brother Robert Greenberg and sister-in-law Cathy; his son David Greenberg, daughter-in-law Barbara and granddaughters Melissa and Allison; as well as his stepdaughter Karen Sugarman, stepson Ken Sugarman, daughter-in-law Robin Goldfaden and grandson Laszlo. Marshall also had (and missed greatly) a daughter Paula who died at the age of 40 in 2001. Relatives and friends are invited to services on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, 1:00 P.M. at Joseph Levine & Sons, 4737 Street Road, Trevose, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marshall's memory may be made to Haverford College.
