Dr. Martin Goldberg passed away on July 12th. He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Gloria Goldberg nee Litz, and his sons Eric and Brian (Concetta). Born in 1930, the son of Herbert and Anna Goldberg, he lived in West Philadelphia until his family moved to East Oak Lane in 1944.
Martin was a Central High School graduate, an alumni of Penn and Temple University Dental School. He served in the Air Force for two years and he continued his studies at Northwestern University for graduate work in orthodontics. His orthodontic practice was in Chester County, in West Chester and Kennett Square.
He loved his work and his relationship with his patients. A man of many talents and interests, Martin was an avid swimmer, an artist and a great lover of classical music. He was a wonderful son, nephew, cousin, husband, father and friend.
Funeral services were held Monday July 15, 2024 at Main Line Reform Temple with burial at Haym Salomon Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Main Line Reform Temple (mlrt.org) or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
