Dr. Ronald Lee Lipkowitz

Dr. Ronald Lee Lipkowitz passed away May 4, 2023 at his home in Audubon, PA.  (formerly of Berwyn PA) after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.  He was 68 years old.

Ron was born on September 1, 1954 in Philadelphia and lived in Norristown, PA with his parents Frank (predeceased 6/26/1973)  and Myra (predeceased 8/10/1983) Lipkowitz and his brother Bruce Lipkowitz.  

Ron attended Norristown High School 1972 and then graduated from an accelerated Medical Program from RPI and Albany Medical School.  He was a resident physician at Bryn Mawr Hospital and an intern at The University of Pennsylvania Hospital and specialized in Psychiatry. He was in private practice in Devon, PA for 30 years and also worked at the Norristown School District and Upper Perkiomen School District and Anderson School.

Ron was a member of the South Eastern Pennsylvania Orchid Society, avid photographer, passionate world traveler, music enthusiast, wine and food lover.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gisela Krause, Audubon, PA and his brother Bruce Lipkowitz, Spring City, PA, sister-in-law, Sally Lipkowitz, Spring City, PA, his niece Julia Lipkowitz, Phoenixville, PA and his nephew, Michael Lipkowitz, Exton, PA.

Friends and Relatives are invited to graveside services on Sunday, May 7, 2023, 1:00 pm at Haym Salomon Memorial Park, 200 Moores Road, Frazer, PA  19355
