Edith Klausner

Klausner Edith (Nee Quitman), March 3, 2025, of Wynnewood, PA; devoted wife of the late Gilbert Klausner; loving mother of Michael Klausner (Barbara Sih), Randi Klausner Friedman (Kenny) and Steven Klausner (Ariele); adored grandmother of Casey Cohen (Adam), Max Friedman (Havy), Jill Dworsky (Erik), Dan Klausner, Greg Klausner (Michele), Alexandra Grossman (Aaron), Jessica Klausner and Claire Klausner and great-grandmother of Wesley, Jacob, Taylor, Noah, Ari, Miles, Jackson and Colin. Edie was a long-time leader in education, working in the classroom as a teacher, engaging in research, mentoring teachers in the Philadelphia school system and ending her career as Principal at The School in Rose Valley. She was a life-long learner, an avid reader, and loved creating beautiful needlepoint pieces for her family. 

Funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Edith’s memory may be made to The Miquon School  or to Germantown Jewish Centre.

Shiva will be held on Sunday, March 9th only at the late residence with visitation from 6:30pm – 9:00pm with Minyan at 7:30pm.
