EDITH B. (nee Budin), of Merion, PA died Aug. 23, 2010. She was born in Philadelphia and lived there until moving to Merion 50 years ago.
Mrs. Panzer attended Temple University and worked for 10 years as a legal secretary.
She was a member of Har Zion Temple where she was active in the Sisterhood. Mrs. Panzer was a life member of Hadassah, had served as a member of the Board of The Samuel Paley Day Care Center in Northeast Philadelphia, and had also been active in Women's League.
Predeceased by her husband, Mitchell E. Panzer, she is survived by 2 daughters Marcy C. Panzer (Manny Pokotilow) of Penn Valley and Leslie P. Katz (Dr. Herbert I. Katz) of Livingston, NJ. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren Justin Panzer (Lindsey), Douglas Panzer (Jamie), Dana Hirsch (Brian), Brandon Katz and 2 great grandchildren Jacob and Hannah Panzer.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at 10 A.M., at the Mt. Sharon Cemetery with arrangements by JOSEPH LEVINE & SON. The family will return to the residence of Marcy C. Panzer and Manny Pokotilow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, Har Zion Temple-Sisterhood Floral Fund or Temple Beth Shalom, Eternal Life Fund, Livingston, NJ
