Elaine Rosenzweig Bass

Elaine Rosenzweig Bass passed on 2/14/ 2024, age 89. She grew up in the Logan section of Philadelphia, and attended Olney High School (class of 1952).  Elaine attended Tyler School of Art and received a BFA and MEd in Painting and supplemented her skill development with attendance at the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts.  She also studied at Hahnemann Hospital’s Creative Arts Therapy Department which enabled her to work in Mental Health as a Group Art Therapist.  She has exhibited in New York at the Owen Gallery, at the Delaware Art Museum, local Universities, Philadelphia Art Alliance and has sold privately and to Corporations.

Elaine was pre-deceased by her former husband, Joseph Bass and son Kenneth Robert, and survived by her son, David Louis and her sister, Carol R. Fiergang.
