ELI, 89, a lifetime resident of Upper Darby and WWII Navy Vet; July 3, 2012. Devoted and loving husband to his beautiful wife Mary (nee Hickey) Malen. Brother of the late David (Mary) Malen. Loving father of Thomas (Sharon) Hickey, Rosemary (Glenn) Thomas, Daniel (Judith) Hickey, and Celle Hickey. Proud grand-father of Claude Hickey,Glenn (Marjorie) Thomas, Jeffrey Hickey, Thomas Hickey, Rosemary Thomas, Kimberly (Jordan) Cary. Uncle of the late Beverly Schwartz, and Marlene Taylor. Proud great uncle of Jay (Stacey) Schwartz, and Dr. Donna (Rick) Schwartz. Former Man of the Year at Beth T'fillah of Overbrook Park. Services and interment will be private. The family respectfully request that contributions in his memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
