ELLEN ROBIN, 53, of San Francisco, CA. originally from Merion, PA, passed away on August 14, 2014 after a 10 year battle with ovarian cancer. Ellen graduated from Lower Merion High School and Univ. of Pennsylvania where she received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. She then received her MBA from the Univ. of Chicago. Soon after, Ellen moved to Silicon Valley and was highly successful at several start up companies including Advanced Fiber Communications, Cosine, and Telespree Communications. She became CEO of Telespree Communications which she then sold in November of 2013. Ellen was a leader and innovator in the development of telecommunication technolo-gies. Independent of her stellar business career, she was a painter, philanthropist, avid traveler, wine connoisseur, and spent all of her free moments in Napa Valley. She is survived by her brothers Daniel and Richard Schwab, her boyfriend, Don Kozerski, nieces and nephews Adam, Amanda, Emily, Robbie, Jessica, and Allison Schwab, and sister in laws Edna and Ruth Schwab. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 12:00 P.M., Main Line Reform Temple, 410 Montgomery Ave., Wynnewood, PA. Shiva will be observed at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Schwab.
