Elliott Lewis Lehman

Elliott Lewis Lehman, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away December 14, 2025 at the age of 80. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 10, 1945 to Irene (Wexler) Lehman and David Lehman.

He is survived by his brother Jeffrey Lehman; nieces and nephews Dana Lehman (Amanda), Carolyn Yarnell (William), and Ron Lehman (Melissa). He was predeceased by his father David Lehman and his mother Irene Lehman, his sister-in-law Philomena Lehman, and his nephew Nicholas Lehman.

Elliott grew up in the West Oak Lane neighborhood of Philadelphia and later lived in Germantown. He is a graduate of the University of Memphis. Known as “The Walking Encyclopedia,” Elliott never forgot a sports stat or a running route. He collected countless items of sports memorabilia and could start a conversation with anyone, anywhere, and he’d never forget it.

Elliott was most passionate about his running - qualifying for and completing the Boston Marathon for more than 20 consecutive years. He could recount each run, his pace, and specific mile markers. He would routinely run from Germantown to Delaware County to visit his brother and nieces and nephews.

Elliott made friends everywhere he went and was never without a strong opinion. He will be missed.

After a private internment the family will host a memorial service on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 1:30 PM at Joseph Levine & Sons, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA.
