ELSIE S. (nee Snyder) On August 1, 2014, of the Abramson Center, formerly of Phila. Wife of the late Judge Eugene Gelfand; sister of Beatrice Mattleman; also survived by her nieces Gwen H. Mattleman, Esq. and Lauren Mattleman Hoopes (John); grandniece Alexandra E. Hoopes; grandnephew Nathaniel B.F. Hoopes, and a cousin, Elsie Lieberstein Sachs. Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services, Monday, August 4th at 11:00 A.M., Roosevelt Memorial Park, Old Lincoln Highway, Trevose, PA. The family will be receiving guests at the Abramson Center following the service. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Temple University School of Law for the Eugene Gelfand '49 Memorial Fund, the National Alliance on Mental Illness or to a charity of the donors choice.
