Eric Rodger Greenspun

Eric Rodger Greenspun of Avalon, NJ passed away at his home, Thursday December 7, 2023. Born July 21, 1958 in Philadelphia, PA to Zelda Ettinger and Leonard Greenspun. Eric attended Penn Valley Elementary School, Mitchell Preparatory School, and earned his Bachelor Degree at Biscayne College. On November 4, 1979 he married his high school sweetheart, Jane McConnell, and they made their home in Haverford Township while raising their two children. Eric ran his family business, Lee Table Pad Company, until he retired in 2016. After his wife, Jane, passed away, he moved to Avalon, NJ where he enjoyed his love of boating and fishing. While living in Avalon, he met his companion, Eileen Capriotti. Eric was an avid Eagles fan and loved cheering for all Philadelphia sports teams. He also loved coaching and cheering for his own children and their sports teams.

Eric is survived by his children: Dan Greenspun, and Annie Berger (Rory), adoring granddaughters: Lucy & Abby, and siblings: Andrea Ehrlich (Alexander), Beth Frezel (Jerry), Peter Greenspun (Katherine), and Susie Schwartz (Steve), and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Sun. 2 P.M., Har Jehuda Cem., Lansdowne Ave., Upper Darby. After burial the family will have a meal of consolation at Springfield Country Club. Contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
