Evelyn (nee Emas), July 26, 2016, 100 years of age, of Ventnor, NJ. Beloved wife of the late Herman M. Goldberg; loving mother of Lyn Ross (the late George) and Bunny April (Lewis); devoted sister of the late Morris Emas; cherished grandmother of Michael Ross (Sherri), Merry Ross (Patrick Zimski) and Melissa April (Jonathon Palmatier); adored great-grandmother of Zoe Zimski, Phoebe Zimski, Emma April and Gabrielle April.
Evie and her husband Herman owned and operated a very successful store on Landis Avenue in Vineland, New Jersey. During her lifetime, she helped many people in need by giving them discounts when they couldn't afford to buy the furniture and in any other way that she could help them. She retired to Ventnor 25 years ago.
Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Friday 12 Noon, Montefiore Cem., Jenkintown, PA. Shiva will be observed at the residence of Lyn Ross. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the National Museum of Jewish History.
