FRANCES (nee Emanuel)

October 24, 2018, of Haverford PA. Beloved wife of the late Sylvan Tobin. Mother of Lynne (Tony Trocchi) Tobin, Steven (Janet Hild) Tobin, and Sharon (Joseph) Tobin Kestenbaum. Sister of Mack Emanuel. Grand-mother "Nanny" of Kati (Mike), Jesse, Meg, David, Matthew, Eli, Sara, Jacob, Noah, Sienna and Milo.
Fran's life was dedicated to her family and her numerous charities. For two decades she ran the Flyers' Wives Fight for Lives Charities. She started the Flyers Wives Fight For Lives Carnival, raising millions for Hahnemann Hospital, cancer research and other philanthro-pies across Philadelphia. For over a decade, she was also instrumental in raising funds for The Wistar Institute.
Relatives and friends are invited to Services Friday, October 26, 2018, at 11 A.M., at Har Zion Temple, 1500 Hagys Ford Road, Penn Valley PA. Interment at Haym Salomon Memorial Park. The family will return to the late residence Friday afternoon through Monday evening and respectfully request that contri-butions in Fran's memory be made to The Wistar Institute in support of Pancreatic Cancer Research, 3601 Spruce St., Phila.
