Frederick Lehman

Frederick A. Lehman, age 99, passed away peacefully at home on July 16, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Charlotte, loving father of Larry (Anita) Lehman and Lisa Lehman, grandfather of Daniel (Cari), Laura, and Stephen (Katya), and great grandfather to Vivian and Mary.

 

A graduate of Central High School’s 177th Class, and Harvard University, Fred had a love for education and the arts. He was well versed in many topics and enjoyed varied interests throughout his life.

 

For many years Fred and his wife Charlotte owned and operated an overnight camp (Indian Lake Camp) in the Poconos. He was very passionate about the Camp, and the growth and well being of his campers.

 

He enjoyed a lengthy retirement, volunteering his time and donating to many causes he felt important. Fred will be missed by his family and many others.

 

To honor Fred’s wishes, services will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Central High School, Philadelphia.
