Rachel Lynne Kessler, of Philadelphia, Pa. Beloved daughter of Madeleine Goldenberg and Steven Jay Kessler. Cherished sister of Daniel G. Kessler and sister-in-law of Theresa Ann Noone. Proud aunt of Jonah and Maeve Kessler. Beloved granddaughter of Rose and Benjamin Goldenberg, Mae and Al Kessler. Loving doggy mom to Dakota, Lucy, Barkley, and Ella. Loved by many other friends and family.
Rachel grew up in Bala Cynwyd, PA and attended Friends Central School, graduating in 1992. She graduated from George Washington University in 1996 with a degree in Nutrition Science. Rachel held various roles in the real estate industry over the course of her professional career.
She was diagnosed with advanced Stage 3 breast cancer in August 2008, which understandably altered the trajectory of her life in profound ways. Through everything she endured, Rachel remained the same person to all who knew and loved her. Cool as a cucumber, impeccably dressed, dry humor, and selfless beyond measure being just a few of her defining characteristics. Rachel redefined toughness, demonstrated stoic bravery, and has now found peace.
Relatives and friends are invited to honor her life on Thursday March 30, 12 noon at Joseph Levine & Sons 1002 Skippack Pike, Blue Bell. To view Livestream: https://www.levinefuneral.com/trevose-webcam.html Interment will be private.
Relatives and friends are welcome to visit with the family after Thursday’s service at the Rittenhouse Hotel, banquet venue. The family will also welcome visitors at the same location on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2 from 4pm-8pm on both days.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the Abramson Cancer Center: https://www.pennmedicine.org/cancer/giving
