Gail Lish

Gail Lish, 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon, November 10, 2024. She was born on April 28, 1941, near Philadelphia and lived in Washington Crossing and New Hope throughout her life. 

Gail is survived by her devoted husband, Ira Lish; her beloved son, Jeffrey (Holli) Lish; and her cherished grandchildren, Jordyn (Zach) Brand, Dani Goldberg, Matthew and Adam Lish, and Samantha and Jonathon Lish. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacy Maggion, and her son, Robert (Julie) Lish. 

Gail was a vibrant and loving presence in every room she entered. Her deep commitment to making sure those around her, especially her grandchildren, felt loved was evident to all who knew her. Her laughter and warmth inspired everyone she encountered. Gail was passionate about life’s gifts, especially her love for animals—whether it was guinea pigs, dogs, cats, or birds, she had a special place in her heart for them and passed this trait down through generations. She was also a gifted cook and baker, known for her culinary talents. In addition to her love for cooking, Gail enjoyed knitting and gardening. A graduate of Harcum College, Gail shared her talents and love with others as a preschool teacher. 

Above all, Gail’s greatest joy was her family.

Funeral services will be at Levine's Funeral Home, 4737 Street Road, Trevose, PA 19053 at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 13. Services will also be streamed at www.levinefuneral.com/trevose-webcam. Family will be receiving guests following the service at the late residence.  Contributions in her memory may be made to a local animal shelter.
