Gerald "Jerry" Dorland

 

Gerald “Jerry” Dorland, May 28, 2023, of Yardley, PA; beloved husband of Janis (nee Kaplan); loving father of Allison Munichiello (Dave) and Lindsay Gold (Avi); cherished grandfather of Maia, Nico, Remy and Tali; devoted brother of Jan Duckett and the late Joyce Pruitt. Jerry leaves behind a legacy of dedication to family, love of learning, spirit of adventure, and capturing moments in film. After graduating from Neshaminy High School in 1963, Jerry went on to study engineering at Penn State and pursued a Master’s in psychology and education. Jerry returned to Neshaminy to teach for 40 years across courses in math and physics - with a passion for learning that was contagious. His playful curiosity was beloved by friends, students, and grandchildren alike. Jerry could connect with any audience anytime, anywhere. His enthusiasm for life and life-long learning could be felt in each interaction. Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside services on Wednesday, May 31, 11:00 at Roosevelt Memorial Park, 2701 Old Lincoln Highway, Trevose, PA.
