GERTRUDE, of Phila., age 95. Wife of the late Harold London, passed peacefully at Keystone Hospice, on Jan. 11, 2007 with her daughters, Carol and Cecilia and brother, Bernie at her side. She was an unusually intelligent, loving woman who won academic awards for her scholarship and creativity. She took pride in her working career as a Home and School Visitor for the School District of Phila. She loved her family and will be greatly missed by her brother Bernie Finkle and his wife Bea; her children, Carol Davis and Cecilia London; her grand-children, Caren, Jill, Jessica and Andy, and her great grand-children, Bennett and Max. Graveside Services will be held Sun., Jan. 14th, 11 A.M. at Montifiore Cemetery, Church & Borbeck St., Section E. Please send donations in her name to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) 225 City Ave. Suite 104, Bala Cynwyd 19004.
