GERTRUDE (nee Sigel), died on February 11, 2013 at age 99. She was the devoted wife of the late Shep Waldman; loving mother of Don and Roslyn Waldman, Ruth Waldman Schultz, and Gene and Etta Waldman; proud grandmother of Jody and Peter Abrams, Howard and Lisa Waldman, Vicki and Kevin Gottlieb, Gary and Sloane Waldman, Jessica Schultz, Jacqueline Schultz, Katherine and Warren Zager, Stefanie and Alec Schoenberger, Meredith Waldman, and Jeffrey Waldman; Great grand-mother "bubbe" extraordinaire of Jason Abrams, Matthew Abrams, Erik Waldman, Scott Waldman, Rachel Gottlieb, Lenny Gottlieb, Samantha Gottlieb, Carly Waldman, Sophie Waldman, Maggie Waldman, Caroline Zager, Charlotte Zager, and Chloe Grace Schoenberger. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, February 13th, precisely at 10:30 A.M. at Congregation Adath Jeshurun, 7762 Old York Road, Elkins Park, 19027. Interment at Har Jehuda Cemetery in Upper Darby. Shiva will be observed on Wednesday and Thursday, and also on Friday until sundown at the home of Warren and Kathy Zager.
