On August 23, 2018. Husband of the late Elsa Kolansky (nee Harwitz). Father of Jeffrey (Maggie) Kolansky, Betta Kolansky and Daniel (Ana) Kolansky. Grandfather of Jessica, Robert (Sarah), David, Jonathan and Matthew Kolansky. Great-grandfather of Andrew Kolansky. He practiced and taught psychiatry and psychoanalysis in Philadelphia for more than 65 years. He was most recently the Director of the The Center for Psychoanalysis at Albert Einstein Medical Center and Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania. JOSEPH LEVINE AND SONS MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 4737 Street Road, Trevose. PA. Interment Roosevelt Mem. Park. Shiva will be observed at the residence of Daniel and Ana Kolansky on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, and the family will receive visitors beginning at 3 P.M. on Sunday and each evening after 5 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Beth Sholom Congregation or to the Cardiovascular Division at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
