Harvey S. Luterman, of Bryn Mawr, PA, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2026, surrounded by his loving children. He was 93 years old.
Harvey was the beloved husband of Barbara (nee Hetelson). He was the devoted father of Alex (Faith) Levin, Amy (Gary) Steinberg, Larry (Robin) Levin, Gail (Reed) Slogoff, and Bill (Marla) Luterman. He was the cherished brother of Charlotte Goldsmith.
Harvey was a proud grandfather of 15: Jacob (Jacqui), Mike (Theresa), Dan (Julie), Josh (Brei), Jessie (Zach), Dylan, Luke, Kyle (Talia), Ethan, Zack, Annabel, Andrew, Julia, Piper, and Jack, and a loving great-grandfather of 7: Harper, Demi, Jordana, Emerson, Piper, Lucy, and Julien.
An esteemed member of the Pennsylvania Bar for more than 50 years, Harvey had an illustrious legal career as a corporate lawyer. He was a founding partner in the law firm Kremer, Krimsky and Luterman. Known for his humor and happy demeanor, he was a voice of reason and a trusted advisor to his extended family. Whether playing tennis,reading his newspapers, collecting fountain pens and Loetz glass or strumming the ukulele in his younger years (a hobby he passed down to his grandkids), Harvey was a guiding light and source of comfort to his friends, family and clients.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved family and friends. His love, kindness, and memory will continue to live on through the many generations of his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to services on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Joseph Levine and Sons Memorial Chapel, 4737 Street Road, Trevose, PA. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park.
Shiva will be observed on Monday and Tuesday evening.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in Harvey’s memory may be made to Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and Friends of the IDF (FIDF)
