Helen Juftes

Helen Juftes, 96, passed away at Arbor Terrace Willistown, Pa., on September 3, 2024.  Helen grew up in South Philadelphia. After she graduated from Girls High, she attended business school and became a bookkeeper. She moved to Havertown and raised her family there. She worked as a bookkeeper for a real estate company, then a cardiologist in Philadelphia. Her last job was in Broomall working for a Physical Therapy practice.

Helen was always on the go. She loved travelling, playing with her grandchildren and going out to dinner and the movies.  Her favorite hobby was drying fresh flowers and making cards for everyone for birthdays, anniversaries or the holidays.  She especially liked meeting her children’s friends and attending all her grandchildren’s sports or music activities.  

Helen was the beloved wife of the late Isaac Juftes; loving mother of Richard Juftes (Cais), Arlene Cellucci (Frank) and Ronald Juftes (Lorrie); cherished grandmother of Jamie (Taylor), Erika (Bill), Daniel (Keyana) and Jeffrey (Rachel); adored great- grandmother of Maddox, London, Liam, Grayson, Zara, Isaac, Brady, Baker, Finn, Indi and Quinn. Relatives and friends are invited to Memorial Services, Monday, September 9, 2024, 11:30AM, at Joseph Levine and Sons, 2811 West Chester Pike Broomall, PA. 

Following services, the family invites all attendees to Anthony’s Ristorante, 865 W Springfield Road, Springfield, PA.
