HELEN WEINER, (nee Kutner) November 17, 2018, Lauderhill, FL, formerly of Philadelphia, PA. She was married to the late Samuel Weiner for 54 years, and devoted mother to Sandra Weiner Sosinski and son-in-law Robert; Arlene Weiner; and Jack Weiner. Loving grandmother to Mallory and husband Robert Bryson; Mollie and husband Zach Michelson; Karyn Sosinski; and Julian Charnas. Sister of Rhoda Miller, nee Kutner, Lauderhill, FL; and late brothers Leon, Sidney and Irving Kutner. Beloved aunt, cousin, and friend to many in both Philadelphia and Florida.
After retiring from the clothing business she shared with her husband in Philadelphia, Mrs. Weiner was a proud and active resident of the Environ community in Inverrary, Lauderhill Florida for 40 years, and formerly served as president of the Environ Women's Club and Social Chairman of Inverrary Tennis Club. She became a resident of The Bridge at Inverrary last year. Social life was important to Helen, but family meant everything. Services are Wednesday, November 21, 1 PM at Joseph Levine and Sons, 4737 Street Road, Trevose, PA, and internment follows at Shalom Memorial Park. The family will be observing shiva Wednesday evening at the home of Jack Weiner, 33 Chapel Hill Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054, with services at 7 PM.
