IRA EARL We remember our deeply beloved (always known endearingly as Bud or Buddy) who passed away at home on Aug. 9, 2007. He is desperately missed by his wife of 45 years, Reva (nee Schapira) Robinson, his children Robert and Patty Isen, James and Nicole Robinson, Tory Burch, Leonard and Erika Lopez and his grandchildren Thomas, Charles, Will, Nick, Henry, Brooke, Sawyer and Jack. Born on Jan. 6, 1923 in Phila., PA to Henry and Rae Robinson, he attended the Germantown Academy School and graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Throughout his iconic life he blazed his own unbeaten path as a successful business man, inveterate collector, arbiter of style, eccentric inventor and mostly patriarch. He was the center-line for his family, always guiding with a quiet strength, knowing smile and rapier wit. We will miss him and love him forever. Services and interment are private. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations in the memory of Ira Earl Robinson be sent to the Department of Radiation Oncology Research Fund c/o The University of Pennsylvania, ATTN: Dr. Stephen Hahn, #2 Donner, 3400 Spruce St. Phila, PA. 19104.
