Irene Novick, August 26, 2025, of Audubon, PA. Loving mother of Laura Garber (Todd), Carolyn Richter (Scott) and Brian Sinowitz (Eileen); devoted sister of Anita Kaufman (Richard), Linda Hersch (Mark) and Glenn Novick (Randi); cherished daughter of the late Mary and Joseph Novick; proud grandmother of Alexander, Matthew, Mikaela, Julia, Michelle, Lindsay, Ella, Margot and Xavier; also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Irene was born on June 25, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from New York University with a B.S. in Education, received a Master of Arts in Teaching at Columbia University, and obtained a Master of Library Science from Queens College. She taught junior high school for a few years in New York before taking time off to raise her children. She returned to work as a school librarian in the Norristown School District, where she worked for 20 years. Irene loved spending time at the beach, exercising, reading, baking, taking care of her four cats, and spending time with her family. 

Relatives and friends are invited to the graveside services on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 12:00 NOON at Roosevelt Memorial Park, 2701 Old Lincoln Hwy, Trevose, PA 19053. Shiva will be observed at Laura Garber's residence on Friday, August 29 12:00-3:00pm, Sunday, August 31, Monday, September 1, and Tuesday, September 2, 4:00pm-8:00pm. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Irene’s memory may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association or the ASPCA.
